The project take inspiration from Carp-to-Dragon mythology. Composed of 2 towers of 36 storey and 50 storey, along with other adjacent urban structure, it corresponds to each of the development of this mythological creature. First: on the level of river water, symbolized by the Carp sculpture and Dragon bridge, stretched horizontally. Second: emerge from the water to fly up, symbolized by the 36-storey tower which develops both vertically and horizontally. Third and lastly: shoot up to the sky dramatically, symbolized by the main 50-storey tower which emphasized verticality. The 50-storey tower symbolize the dragon head that faces the Han River and holds within its jaw a spherical gemstone. Along with the dragon bridge, it forms the “two dragon competing for gemstone” juxtaposition.
