With the goal of creating a friendly and peaceful convalescence compound, we take inspiration from the Japanese village nestled within the mountainous forest. Then, we propose to breakdown the overall required programs into smaller buildings of 1-4 floors connected with continuous covered walkway, in order for the architecture to blend with the landscape and to take full potential of the long yet circuitous site boundary. The Japanese esthetics is chosen to bring serenities and comfortable feelings , but also to pay homage to the local environments where architecture serves as a humble background for the distinctive mountainous landscape to stand out.
